A Nigerian man has become the youngest senior lecturer at the Sheffield Hallam University in the United Kingdom.
Dr. Salihu Dasuki
A Nigerian man by name, Salihu Dasuki has become the youngest senior lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University in the United Kingdom. The Ph.D holder in Information systems revealed that he became an assistant professor in Nigeria at the age of 24 and held that position for 5 years before the latest elevation.
By Allah's grace, not only am I the youngest, I resume teaching as a senior lecturer of computing at Sheffield Hallam University, UK." he wrote on Twitter.
Born in October 1987, Dasuki is one of Nigeria’s youngest PhD holders, and arguably the youngest in northern Nigeria. He graduated with a first class degree in information technology from Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), North Cyprus at 21.
Dr. Salihu completed his Master’s degree at Brunel University, UK. He capped it with a PhD from the same university in 2012.
