Man Falls into a River During Peaceful Protest in Cameroon (Photos)

A peaceful political protest in Cameroon has claimed the life of a young man following an undue interference by security operatives.

One Mr. Okri Franklin who is said to be in his 40s drowned on Friday September 22nd during a peaceful protest against the government.
 
He fell into River Badi in Mamfe in Cameroon because the bridge was reportedly blocked and allegedly teargassed by the military officers.
 
Three days after, the residents have recovered his corpse.
According to reports, there is tension in Mamfe as the region has reportedly recorded three deaths, two by gun shots and one by drowning.
