SARS Operative Shot During Gun Battle With Degbam Cultists in Rivers State (Photos)

Some members of the Degbam cult group who engaged SARS operatives have been neutralized in Rivers State

A member of the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) who was shot yesterday during a shootout with some armed men suspected to be kidnappers along the East/West road in Emouha area of Rivers state is responding to treatment.

It was gathered that the armed men who blocked the East/West road were members of the Degbam cult group. Before the encounter, the cult members had been terrorizing motorists plying the road. Motorists complained about the criminal gang before security operatives intervened.

Known for his international smashing hit song, "I Don't Wanna Know", popular singer might not be able to perform in the nearest future after he was arrested and jailed. Mario Winans' mugshot (Photo: Bossip)   American Singer and songwriter, Mario Winans has been arrested and jailed for not paying child support for his 12-year-old son, reports Bossip. The former Bad Boy Records artist was arrested at his home in Fort Lee, N.J., on Wednesday (Sept. 27).   Authorities from the Bergen County Sheriff’s Department raided Winans home and arrested him without incident.    The  “I Don’t Wanna Know”  singer apparently owes $171,000 in back child support. Winans is currently in jail and his bail is set at the same amount of the child support owed.   This isn’t the first time the 43-year-old singer has run afoul of the law. A woman who has been declared dead and buried in error, now wants to dig up the grave where she is supposedly buried to prove she still lives. Juana Escudero   Juana Escudero, a 53-year-old woman who was incorrectly declared as dead in 2010 is going to extreme lengths to finally end her bureaucratic nightmare.   According to a report by Metro UK, despite the fact that Juana Escudero, who lives near Serville in Spain, is very much alive, the state has believed she is dead since a clerical error seven years ago.   In May 2010 a woman with the exact same name and date of birth as Escudero died, which revealed a glitch in Spain’s Social Security information as both women were declared as dead, rather than just the one who actually died.   Since learning of the error after being told by an emergency-room physician that she was registered as deceased, Escudero (the living one) has been unable to renew her driving license or even visit the doctors...
